The Stevensville United Methodist Church Missions Team organizes numerous special funds for mission work to continue.  The following collections will occur during the Sunday services:

DECEMBER 3...HEIFER PROJECT
Donations to buy animals for the Heifer Project will be collected during December. Help families around the world by “buying” an animal or a share in an animal. The Heifer Project was started n the early 1900’s to help needy families who used the animals for milk and cheese making and passed on any baby animals to other families.

DECEMBER 10...ARNOLDINE ZIMBABWE
Monies collected this week will go towards Farai Rukunda’s home town Arnoldine Zimbabwe.

DECEMBER 17... BENTON HARBOR SOUP KITCHEN
Their Mission is simple, “to feed people in need”. You can help change a life. Your donations go to feed hungry adults and children. 1 in every 6 people in the US suffers from food “insufficiency”. The soup kitchen serves lunch every day of the year and no patron pays anything for their meal.

DECEMBER 24...CHRISTMAS OFFERINGS
Christmas Eve Offerings will be divided 50% to SUMC Emergency Fund and 50% to the Youth for Updating the Youth Room.

DECEMBER 31...HOMETOWN STEVENSVILLE
Hometown Stevensville is an intentional and deliberate focus on the needs of our local area, right here in Stevensville and the surrounding communities.

Please note that you can donate to any mission at any time. Please place your donation in any offering envelope with instructions written on the “other” line. Thank you!
