Relay for Life Results

Thanks to everyone who supported, walked, and made this a great event to help fund cancer research.  Stevensville UMC’s team, Caring Hands, helped raise $2,528 and the Relay raised over $400,000.  We can still raise of donate money through the end of August, 2010.  Please contact Carolyn Yoder at 429-3030, if you would like to make a donation (checks payable to the American Cancer Society).

SUMC placed 68 luminaries in front of our space in honor or in memory of people.  The candles burned from 9 pm Saturday until 6:30 am on Sunday morning.  They lit the walkway all night and were beautiful.  SUMC Luminaries raised $680 alone.
